Most South African employers site the shortage of skilled staff as one of their main business challenges. For this reason and our high unemployment rate, national skills development programmes such as learnerships are vital to the strength of our economy.

A contract between a learner, an employer and an accredited training provider, combines practical on-the-job training with appropriate theoretical learning giving the successful learners not only a recognised formal qualification but the advantage of working experience; both valuable assets when entering the job market.
